Here's another Slashdot article about SCO: McBride Speaks, In Person And In Print. I read both articles and some of the commentary and it's worth a few mintues to read the CRN link especially. From what I can gather he seems to think that everything in SCO system V Unix is "owned" by SCO and that SCO has copyrights on all of it. This is very wrong, because during it's history it incorporated BSD and other code that is *not* owned by SCO, but *usable" by SCO, just like SCO can today use SAMBA. He also has that "us -vs- the world" mentatlity but without the facts he's just toothless. Drop by Groklaw for some more fun with the legal side of it and see just how much he says one thing at one time and then has his lawyers say the opposite in court. Very telling.
