This hasn't seen much light of day, but it's the forerunner of a CERT Alert: CERT/CC Vulnerability Note VU#547820. Basically there's a new vulnerability in the DCOM/RPC that causes a DOS condition requiring a reboot. Nobody seems to have exploited it to cause a root condition (taking over the box) yet... I've read a note cross-posted on a private mailing list that was from Microsoft admitting that this was correct, however there is no public admission yet (BTW: This was published on Full-Disclosure on 10/10/2003).
