This sounds like a problem Dell: No shelter against SCO suits, in reality there is no need for indeminfication. Anyone can claim whatever and sue someone over it, but proving it is a different matter. Not only that, copyright law prevents the end user from being sued over something that someone else sells. Dell, or Red Hat can be sued, but the users of their software can't (at least for IP violations that is).
