Monday, August 18, 2003 Well, SCO is using it's SCO Forum 2003 to promote it's 'Linux Licenses' and do more threatening: SCO Turns Up the Heat on Linux Users. McBride is quoted as saying: "We will take legal action against any company that violates our intellectual property. We have no fear about going to court as we have nothing to hide. The sooner the court hears and rules on the issues in this matter, the better for us." Funny, why the big thick almost byzantine NDA for merely "looking" at the supposed code?? He goes on to say that they "..have already had one enterprise sign a license with us...". Boy, I'm sure some Linux folks would like to know who that is, or was that SUN re-upping it's license again? :-) posted by David | 8/18/2003 12:46:00 PM |
