Slashdot has a link to a Yahoo business article in which some details of the "Linux licensing" from SCO can be found: SCO Wants $699 for Linux Systems. Most of the folks on Slashdot found this to be hilarious as SCO hasn't shown any evidence that there is a need for this license. Can you as a business conduct a protection racket and get away with it "legally" ??

UPDATE: Here's another cNet news article entitled: SCO raps Red Hat, sets license prices. McBride basically says that they will target end Linux users, because of the way that IBM and Red Hat has handled the lawsuit. Hmm.. let me get this right.. pay me now or else?
