Friday, August 08, 2003 Here's an interview with Chris Stone of Novell talking about Netware. Yesterday, they tried to put some spin on putting Netware out to pasture, saying they were misquoted. Read this article and decide for yourself if they were misquoted: Making a decision on NetWare's future. My favorite quote is this: "It also seems a trend needs to be reversed. NetWare has dropped from 70 percent of the market a little over a decade ago to 11 percent today. I wouldn't call it reversing a trend. I have always referred to it as an opportunity. Linux is an opportunity for Linux to grow. It's that simple."
