Here's an interesting perspective for those of you thinking about running open-source products. This cNet article entitled Rockin' on without Microsoft is quite interesting, and helpful. It's bascially an interview with Sterling Ball, the CEO of Ernie Ball and goes over how and why he converted from Microsoft products to open-source products.
