I first read about this earlier today on MSNBC, but here is the cNet article entitled: Hackers organize vandalism contest. The MSNBC article gave more credit to the FBI than to ISS, and from this article it sounds like the ISS was consulting with Homeland Security and it was released premature by either the FBI or Homeland Security.
