Here's an article on cNet about remote data replication: Tech allies demo storage at a distance. The article mentions that they used Fibre Channel-over-IP w/an existing IP connection to replicate data over 3,600 miles away. What they don't go into is *how* this was done, especially what the existing IP connection was (T1? :-).
