Monday, June 23, 2003 As always Security Focus seems to have an interesting article every week. This one is no exception: Guess settles with FTC over cybersecurity snafu. The one thing I'm supprised at in the story is that Guess didn't go after the person who found out about the problem... Seems every other week I read about someone trying to do the right thing only getting blamed for merely reporting it. I also agree with the person that found the problem, Guess was merely one of many, many sites that have scripting issues. They were the ones that he happend to run across, and most importantly their customer database was vulnerable. posted by David | 6/23/2003 02:22:00 PM |
