Well, as I mentioned earlier that other banks have been scam targets (much like eBay customers), here's an eWeek article that metions the other bank by name: Spam Attempts to Scam Bank of America Customers. So far, the scammers are just using the scam to drop backdoors into PCs. These backdoors can be used for IRC Denial of Service Attacks (popular among script kiddies), a point of jumping off for other hacking attempts, and a host of other bad things. At least they arn't trying (for now) to get the bank customers acutal banking account information.
