Wednesday, May 07, 2003 cNet News has a good wrap of WinHEC, including a nice article entitled: Microsoft: Longhorn to arrive in 2005. Considering that some of the beta's have already leaked, it's probably going to make that 2005 release (now, whether it'll be in the first part of the year on not is up for debate :). I sometimes wonder why these companies during the release time of new products (anyone remember that Windows Server 2003 is new) discuss software products two or more years away. I guess that part is still the old FUD that Microsoft has been playing for years now. posted by David | 5/07/2003 07:37:00 PM |
