Althought Kaperskey has a good point in this article: Microsoft leaves IE users 'defenceless' to trojan attack, the point Microsoft is making is even clearer: You need to be on the latest versions and latest patched software in order to be protected (generally a good thing, not always true with MS).
The problem is that Microsoft can introduce things into their software (including license agreements) that you may or may not want to use, but now have to use. That to me is the thorny issue!!
